Athletes looking to elevate their performance this offseason have a premier opportunity waiting for them. EPIC’s Elite Development Program is officially open for registration, with limited spots available for those ready to train at the next level.

Designed for serious athletes who want measurable results, the program delivers a structured, high-performance environment that blends elite coaching with advanced training technology. Running Monday through Friday, each day is built to maximize development across every key area of performance.

Participants in the program can expect a comprehensive training experience that includes daily speed, strength, and conditioning sessions, as well as on-ice skating and development sessions tailored to improve both technical ability and game performance. Athletes also gain access to advanced recovery tools, ensuring their bodies can keep up with the intensity of elite training.

To complement the experience, all athletes in the program receive an exclusive 2026 EPIC training tee that represents their commitment to high-level development.

Flexibility is also a core part of the program’s design. Athletes can choose between 1-on-1 training for a fully personalized approach and small-group sessions (2-5 athletes) that maintain a focused, competitive environment.

What truly sets EPIC apart is the calibre of athletes it attracts. The program has become a trusted training ground for competitors across multiple levels, including NHL, PWHL, AHL, ECHL, OHL, NCAA, OUA, CFL, and Olympic athletes. This creates an environment where developing athletes can train alongside and be inspired by some of the best. Current D1 NCAA player and EPIC athlete, Matthew Souliere, speaks to the impact of the program:

“It’s a great experience. You look forward to going to train because EPIC is a community of amazing, friendly, and dedicated trainers and athletes. It has top-of-the-line programs for every need possible. Plus EPIC has a great on-ice training program and a physio clinic to take care of your body.”

We are excited to welcome back Mark Voakes, our on-ice skills development coach, who will continue to work with our EPIC athletes this summer! Mark brings high-level experience and a proven development approach that athletes stand by. We’re also excited to welcome Kathy McLlwain to our coaching roster. Kathy will take the lead on power skating and stride development as her programs work to improve efficiency, speed, and overall skating mechanics.

With its combination of elite coaching, professional-level resources, and a strong training community, EPIC’s Elite Development Program continues to set the standard for athlete development. Spots are expected to fill quickly. For off-ice gym training, athletes can contact trevor@epicsportstraining.ca. For more information on on-ice development, reach out to mark@epicsportstraining.ca.
