EPIC Hockey Academy is proud to announce that beginning in the 2026–27 season, our program will compete in the Junior Prospects Hockey League (JPHL) as an 18U AAA Hub, becoming the first organization in Ontario to join the league.

This exciting step forward reflects the continued growth of EPIC Hockey Academy and our commitment to providing athletes with a professional, development-focused environment that prepares them for the next level of hockey.

As part of this transition, EPIC Hockey Academy will move to one roster for the upcoming season: the EPIC Hockey Academy 18U AAA Prep Team. The team will be comprised of athletes born in 2008, 2009, and 2010, bringing together a highly competitive group of players within a streamlined high-performance program.

The JPHL has quickly established itself as one of North America’s most progressive AAA development leagues, featuring organizations across multiple regions and delivering a modern, athlete-focused competitive environment.

For EPIC Hockey Academy, joining the league represents both a significant opportunity for our athletes and an important milestone for hockey development in Ontario.

“We are incredibly excited to join the Junior Prospects Hockey League and to become the first Hub in Ontario,” said Eoin McInerney, Director of EPIC Hockey Academy. “The JPHL has built a reputation for professionalism, strong competition, and a commitment to athlete development. Being selected as the flagship Ontario Hub is something we’re extremely proud of, and we’re looking forward to introducing our athletes and families to everything this league has to offer.”

EPIC Hockey Academy operates as part of Elite Performance & Injury Centre, a high-performance training and sports medicine facility serving elite athletes from youth to professional levels. The academy represents one branch of the organization’s broader mission to support athlete development through integrated training, performance science, rehabilitation, and recovery services.

By combining elite coaching, sports performance training, and access to physiotherapy and sports medicine professionals under one roof, the program provides athletes with a comprehensive development environment designed to help them perform at their highest level both on and off the ice.
Joining the JPHL will further expand those opportunities, providing EPIC athletes with high-level competition, increased exposure, and access to a growing network of organizations across North America.

The 2026–27 season will mark an exciting new chapter for EPIC Hockey Academy as we continue building one of the most professional and development-driven environments for elite hockey players in Ontario.
