As golf courses across Ontario begin to open, EPIC is getting ready with the launch of our Golf Performance Program. This program is built specifically for golfers who want to improve not only their performance on the course, but also how they move, feel, and overall health. Our integrated approach focuses on developing strength, power, and functional mobility in ways that directly translate to the golf swing.

Led by certified strength and conditioning coaches, our training goes beyond general fitness. We focus on building complete athletes, with an emphasis on movement quality, control, and efficiency. By improving how the body moves as a whole, golfers are able to generate more power, move more freely, and maintain consistency round after round.

At the core of the program are several key performance benefits. Athletes will develop strength and power that directly contribute to increased club head speed, while improving stability through the lower body and core. Mobility training is equally important, as increased range of motion in the hips, thoracic spine, and shoulders allow for a more complete and efficient swing.

Just as important, athletes will notice they feel better, moving with less restriction, reducing stiffness, and eliminating the compensations that often lead to discomfort or injury. This approach plays a major role in injury prevention, particularly for common issues in the lower back, hips, and shoulders.

Each athlete begins with a comprehensive initial assessment, priced at $90. This includes a full EPIC movement screen and detailed physical analysis to identify limitations and opportunities for improvement. From there, we build an individualized plan focused on improving rotation, strength, power, and overall movement efficiency.

Following the assessment, athletes can choose between private one-on-one coaching and small-group training.

  • Private sessions ($80-90) are the most popular option among our golf athletes, allowing for a highly individualized approach and more detailed coaching.
  • Small group sessions ($30-45 per athlete) offer a great environment for those who prefer training with others while still receiving high-quality guidance.

The EPIC Golf Performance Program is built on a simple goal: help golfers move better, feel better, and perform at a higher level - both on and off the course. Ready to begin? Reach out to EPIC's Director of Strength & Conditioning, Trevor Williamson, to sign up today.
