Mark brings extensive experience in player development and skill instruction to EPIC, having worked with athletes of all ages and abilities—from beginners to NHL prospects. His approach emphasizes both technical mastery and the ability to apply skills in game situations, helping players maximize their performance and hockey IQ.
A native of St. Thomas, Ontario, Mark played 14 seasons of professional hockey across North America and Europe. In the AHL, he tallied 45 points (14g–31a) in 93 games, and in the ECHL, he scored 75 points (28g–47a) in 93 games. Mark spent the latter part of his career in Germany’s top professional league (DEL), playing 382 regular-season games with 331 points (106g–225a) and achieving the league’s best plus/minus rating (17) in 2015–16.
Following his playing career, Mark spent a season as a scout in the DEL with EHC München before transitioning into coaching and development. He served as a Player Development Coach with the New Jersey Devils for three seasons, and was extensively involved on-ice with the AHL’s Utica Comets, where he is now an Assistant Coach.
At EPIC, Mark actively oversees EPIC’s Summer On Ice Development program and draws on his global playing and coaching experience to deliver personalized, high-impact on ice training programs, helping athletes enhance their skills, hockey sense, and confidence. His development-focused approach ensures players are prepared to succeed at every level of competition.
