Carter Allen

Strength & Conditioning Coach

Carter is a current professional hockey player in the ECHL, with five years of pro experience across both the ECHL and EIHL. Over the past decade, he has immersed himself in the world of athletic performance—training under and learning from veteran strength coaches Trevor Williamson and Mitch Stewart, who have been instrumental in shaping both his playing career and coaching philosophy.

Alongside his own development as an athlete, Carter has accumulated over 10 years of hands-on experience in the field—interning, shadowing, and coaching athletes at all levels. His unique perspective as a professional athlete, combined with years of mentorship and real-world coaching, has given him deep insight into speed development, strength training, functional movement, and advanced movement screening.

Now in his third year as a professional Speed, Strength, and Conditioning Coach with EPIC, Carter brings an unmatched level of energy and relatability to the athletes he trains. His ability to connect, motivate, and educate—while pushing athletes to reach their full potential—makes him a valuable asset to the EPIC team. While continuing his own pro hockey career, Carter remains committed to developing the next generation of athletes with the same passion and precision that have driven his own success.
