Cal Theal

Strength & Conditioning Coach

Cal is a former NCAA Division I baseball player turned strength and conditioning coach, bringing elite-level experience and a science-driven approach to athlete development. A five-year member of the Niagara University baseball program, Cal competed at the highest collegiate level, gaining firsthand insight into elite performance, recovery, and long-term durability.

Cal now serves as Head Coach and Pitching Instructor with the Great Lake Canadians, where he continues to develop top baseball talent. He blends sport science with real-world experience to create evidence-based programs focused on rotational power, bat speed, pitching velocity, sprint speed, injury prevention, and rehabilitation.

After his playing career, Cal transformed his passion for performance into coaching. Cal’s goal is to give younger athletes the tools, knowledge, and confidence to train smarter, perform stronger, and reach their full potential. Last summer, he gained hands-on experience at EPIC, working with high-level athletes across the NHL, OHL, NCAA, and GOJHL under the mentorship of Trevor Williamson. Now, he’s ready to turn your potential into power.
